Hotel Pellicano D’Oro is right on the sea, in perfect harmony with its surrounding natural countryside, along the suggestive panoramic road going from Olbia to Golfo Aranci, and overlooks one of the most enchanting beaches in north eastern Sardinia. At only 12km from Olbia airport, it is easily reached and is the ideal departure point for discovering the most famous localities in the fascinating Costa Smeralda and Maddalena Archipelago.
Set in a garden with flowers, pathways and passages decorated with bougainvillea and with the evocative island of Tavolara in the background, the complex has direct access to a beach with white sand, with a small area equipped with parasols, sun-loungers and swimming towels reserved for hotel guests.
In an uncontaminated quiet corner, Pellicano D’Oro has a cosy atmosphere and good service which means a pleasant and relaxing stay. Adjacent to the beach, the original structure has a comfortable lobby with bar and a lovely restaurant which offers a vast choice of refined dishes from local and international cuisine. The large terrace of the bar has a splendid view of the sea and is a pleasant meeting place for an aperitif and for tasting regional wines.
Behind, separated by the road, is the new part of the hotel with modern architecture and design. There is a lovely circular swimming pool (not suitable for children) with solarium terrace, a large lobby with reception, another bar, a small beauty centre and a conference room for up to 100 people.
Sports enthusiasts will find tennis courts only 800 metres away, windsurfing and canoes at 2km distance, Diving Centre and riding stables at 12km away and the famous Pevero Golf Club at 30km distance.
